About

I have worked as a CEO and non-executive Director and consultant in the charity and art sector for the past 25 years, including as Founder Director of LUX and LUX Scotland, the UK museum and agencies for the support and promotion of visual artists working with the moving image.

I have produced and commissioned over 50 artists’ moving image works, delivered courses and workshops, curated exhibitions and screenings, organised festivals, developed public art works and produced numerous publications. My independent work is as a producer, consultant, coach, mentor, educator and facilitator with a focus on creativity and developing potential with individuals and organisations, particularly working with artists to support their creative development. 

My practice draws on Gestalt psychology, nature-allied psychotherapy, clean language/ systemic modelling and nonviolent communication and I have trained at the Northern Media School, University of East Anglia; Gestalt Centre London; Kinharvie Glasgow; The Nature Therapy School and the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
